I´m Jerome Colin and I am Director of Educative Mission and Student Life in Lasalle Beauvais, France. There’s 4 years later, before arriving in Lasalle Beauvais, I was Professor of Philosophy. My studies at the “IPC” (Institute of Comparative Philosophy) and Sorbonne – Paris, gave me to further research on the question of civil disobedience and tyrannicide in medieval philosophy and especially in Thomas Aquinas. All questions which are to the relationship between ethics and politics have always fascinated and questioned me. In my story, this reflexive dimension proved particularly useful and important in the relationship with young people and students. Be an educator feeds anthropological and humanistic principles, trust and listening, sharing and fraternal life: in short a true ethical position that allows to open with confidence and enthusiasm to the world and others. I participated in the Lasallian Leadership Program for the first time in Philadelphia: it was a great Lasallian experience and each year I come back with enthusiasm. I was pleased to see how the dynamics of projects, the global understanding, and leadership could live in exceptional intercultural context of our world lasalle network
